Meet Amelia Bourdeau of Oceanus Capital Partners

I am a Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations at Oceanus Capital Partners, a private wealth management firm based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

I have nearly two decades of experience on Wall Street in trading and macro strategy. I also used to appear on CNBC and had my own show. Now, I partner with entrepreneurs, business owners, high-net-worth individuals, and families to bring clarity, structure, and a thoughtful investment approach to their personal wealth goals.

I lived most of my adult life in New York City, and moved to sunny Ponte Vedra Beach, FL in 2019 to support my husband’s final chapter in the U.S. Navy and to bring my financial expertise to Oceanus Capital Partners. I enjoy my beach life with my now-Navy retired husband and our beloved fur family – four dogs and two persian cats!

Meet Paris Geraniotis Adkison of With Love by Bug Designs

Hi friends! My name is Paris Geraniotis Adkison and I am the founder and artist behind With Love By Bug Designs.

I was born and raised on Cape Cod and earned my undergraduate degree from Boston College. After spending a few years working in the not-for-profit world, I made a career shift into wealth management while pursuing my MBA—also at BC.

After graduating, I found myself drawn back to the arts and decided to follow that passion. That’s when With Love By Bug Designs (WLBB) was born. Named after my sweet rescue pup, Bugsby (aka Bug), WLBB is a collection of whimsical stationery, carefully curated accessories, and needlepoint designs made with love.

Meet Kate Wolfe of Assembly Brand Co

I’m Kate Wolfe, a single mom in my 40s sharing my experiences in travel, community, and everyday adventures with my daughter through my personal brand, @kate.goesplaces based in Charleston, SC.

Professionally, I’ve spent over 15 years as a creative director and designer, working in top agencies across the Southeast for clients in industries like travel, tourism, and real estate. In 2019, I launched my own freelance agency, Assembly Brand Co., where I help small businesses across a variety of fields visually define who they are and bring their stories to life.

Why did you join TSC Membership?

Since @kate.goesplaces is all about personal growth and building community, I recently joined TSC to connect with other inspiring women to support, learn from, and grow alongside. As owner of Assembly Brand Co., I would love to meet fellow entrepreneurs who might need help with branding, storytelling, or content creation. I really believe we shouldn’t create in a vacuum, and I’m excited to share stories, ideas, and even the missteps as I keep growing, both personally and professionally, with this amazing group.

What is a favorite small business you like to shop or support?

There’s no way I could name just a few small businesses and leave the others out! What I can say is that I’ll almost always choose experiences over things. I make it a priority to support local shops, restaurants, and businesses over big retail chains. Thankfully, that’s easy to do in Charleston, where we’re lucky to have so many amazing local businesses to choose from.

Where do you go to get your inspiration now?

I draw a lot of inspiration from local artists, friends, and entrepreneurs. Since launching @kate.goesplaces, I’ve been highlighting female-founded businesses on Fridays to show support for the women and fellow moms, who inspire me.

What is the best business advice you have ever given or received?

One piece of advice I always share is: “Tell your story — not someone else’s.” It’s featured right on the homepage of my site, assemblybrandco.com, because I believe it’s essential for brands to truly own who they are and what sets them apart. When you lead with that kind of authenticity, you’re not just selling a product, you’re creating a story your audience can actually connect with.

Please introduce yourself, and say hi! I would love to meet everyone!

Meet Finlay Coupland of Family Savvy

Hi y’all! I’m Finlay Coupland from Birmingham, AL, and I’m the Business Manager for @family_savvy, a food and lifestyle brand for midlife women. For the past five years, I’ve overseen everything from social media strategy and brand partnerships to blog and podcast production—blending storytelling and strategy to help the brand thrive. I’ve worn many hats along the way and loved every minute of it!

Outside of work, I’m a dance teacher, Children’s Minister, and proud Survivor and Disney fan. Fun fact: I once had the magical opportunity to work at Walt Disney World (a dream come true)!

Why did you join TSC Membership?

I joined TSC to connect with other savvy women in the fashion and beauty industry and beyond. As a young professional new to the business world, my goal is to learn from the experiences of other female entrepreneurs and gain insight into the industry. After a friend recommended TSC, I knew I couldn’t pass it up!

What is a favorite small business you like to shop or support?

I visit my favorite local coffee shop @nichols_nook every morning for an iced Cinnamon Roll Latte. It looks like it came straight out of a Hallmark movie!

Where do you go to get your inspiration now?

As a people person with a love for travel and storytelling, I find inspiration from exploring a new place, going on a fun adventure, watching an inspiring show/musical/play, or simply chatting with those around me. Often, the best inspiration comes from just listening to someone else’s story.

What is the best business advice you have ever given or received?

Always find ways to add value to others. Resource others with great influence, ideas, and tools to support their growth and success in business and life. Emotionally strong people want others to be successful, rejoice with those who are celebrating, and give more than they take.

Meet Kristen Nicholls, Artist

I’m a watercolor artist, surface pattern designer, and mom of three young children who discovered my creative spark after having my first daughter in 2021. What began with a simple watercolor kit and a lifelong love of DIY projects quickly blossomed into a thriving business, fueled by countless YouTube tutorials, late-night painting sessions, and plenty of trial and error. Much of my work is inspired by golf—a beloved family hobby—and translates into hand-painted prints for nurseries and children’s spaces, as well as charming paper goods like milestone cards and personalized stationery. I also love bringing my art to life as surface patterns for products and textiles, especially children’s clothing. I’m excited for the future and look forward to growing my business and collaborating with wonderful partners.

Why did you join TSC Membership?

I was drawn to The Southern C because it offers the opportunity to connect with like-minded women who share my love of creativity, classic style, and entrepreneurship. I knew I would benefit from the community’s workshops, mentorship, and collaborative opportunities to help me expand my reach and grow my business in meaningful ways. Most of all, I value the chance to be surrounded by ambitious, supportive women whose encouragement and fresh ideas inspire me to stay aligned with my vision while building lasting relationships.

What is a favorite small business you like to shop or support?

I love the brand Classic Whimsy for their beautiful yet functional children’s clothes. I’ve bought everything from play clothes to Easter dresses to school backpacks for my children from this brand. It would be a dream to collaborate with them one day!
Where do you go to get your inspiration now?

I get my inspiration from the season of life I’m in right now as a mom to three little ones under four. When creating a new art print or designing a pattern, I imagine what I’d love to see on the walls of my children’s rooms or on the clothes they wear. I also pull from my own interests and aesthetic—golf, tennis, and a classic, timeless, preppy style—and weave those influences into my artwork.

What is the best business advice you have ever given or received?

Never lose sight of your “north star”—the vision that keeps you on track, reminds you why you started, and points you towards your goals. Whenever new opportunities, tasks, or distractions pop up, ask yourself if they bring you closer to that vision. If not, let them go. Staying true to your brand and goals helps you focus on the work that really matters, stay consistent, and keep moving forward without getting lost in the noise.
