Meet Virginia Marcello of Ginny’s Embroidery
Hi! I am Virginia Marcello, the founder of Ginny’s Embroidery. I create custom, embroidered linens that help women add beauty and meaning to their homes and to the special moments in their lives. Before focusing on my business, I raised and homeschooled eight children and have always loved creating spaces that feel warm and welcoming.

Why did you join TSC Membership?
I became a member of TSC to connect with motivated entrepreneurs like myself. I’m excited about the resources offered, which support both my learning and the growth of my business.
What is a favorite small business you like to shop or support?
Two of my favorite small businesses are right here in the TSC! Shuler Studio has always been my first choice for beautiful embroidery designs and fonts to use in my business and Pam is wonderful to work with. I am also a big fan of Sue Sartor after discovering her dresses a few years ago. My collection of her gorgeous designs is growing and I love wearing them for just about any occasion.
Where do you go to get your inspiration now?
My inspiration comes from God’s creation and memorable moments spent with my family. We are in the season of weddings and grandbabies, so I am finding lots of opportunities for creativity.
What is the best business advice you have ever given or received?
The best business advice that I ever received was to be patient and keep moving forward in consistent ways –the results will come.
Meet Olivia King of Frolic Bookkeeping
Hi! I’m Olivia, a CPA (but I don’t do taxes 😉) and the Founder of Frolic Bookkeeping, a CFO + bookkeeping agency. After working in small business tax, I saw how powerful it was when business owners actually understood their numbers. It changed how they made decisions. Now I bridge the gap between tax preparer and business owner so entrepreneurs can be proactive, strategic, and always in the know about their numbers.

Why did you join TSC Membership?
I joined TSC to be in a room with like-minded female founders. After attending a conference that emphasized the importance of community in business, I knew I wanted to be more intentional about the spaces I’m in. TSC felt aligned with what I’ve been looking for!
What is a favorite small business you like to shop or support?
I’m currently in a bit of a mahjong obsession phase and let’s just say a lot of my discretionary income has been supporting that (haha, kidding… but not really). I’ve been loving Miss Mahjong tile sets!
Where do you go to get your inspiration now?
All over the place- sometimes it’s listening to podcasts, sometimes it’s conversations with other business owners, sometimes doom scrolling, sometimes reading, sometimes long walks. I take inspiration from anywhere wherever it shows up!
What is the best business advice you have ever given or received?
It may sound cliché, but “keep calm and carry on” has always stuck with me. In business, there will always be hard days or unexpected issues. I’ve learned that taking a breath and continuing forward usually solves a lot more than getting emotionally wound up!
Meet Anne Brooks of Capital Roots Containers
I’m Anne Brooks, founder of Capital Roots Containers. I specialize in bringing seasonal beauty to your doorstep with fresh, creative, one-of-a-kind plant designs.

Why did you join TSC Membership?
I joined TSC to surround myself with smart, hardworking women with a southern sensibility. Being a small business owner can be lonely so finding a community to get involved in for support and inspiration is one of the ways I keep myself motivated and my business thriving.
What is a favorite small business you like to shop or support?
Viola’s Market, St. Simons Island, GA, Old Fox Books in Annapolis MD, Detroit Garden Works, Sylvan Lake , MI
Where do you go to get your inspiration now?
Visiting gardens like Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania, walking in nature, traveling and seeing different plants
What is the best business advice you have ever given or received?
“Comparison is the thief of creativity” Theodore Roosevelt
Meet Hayley White of The Scouted Studio
Hi, I’m Hayley White, an artist, curator, and founder of The Scouted Studio. I started TSS in 2019 at 23 years old with a simple goal: to make collecting original art feel approachable and personal. What began as a passion project has grown into a curated gallery representing emerging and mid-career artists across the country.
As both an artist and a gallery owner, I care deeply about storytelling, thoughtful curation, and helping collectors find pieces that feel like they were meant for their homes. I live in Beaufort, South Carolina, with my husband Jack and our dog Hudson, and I’m currently in a season of building a home and a business that feel aligned.
Why did you join TSC Membership?
I attended my first Southern C Summit in January and joined the membership shortly after. I’ve already learned so much, but the relationships are the best part. Being surrounded by women building thoughtful businesses feels collaborative and energizing. That sense of community is everything.
What is a favorite small business you like to shop or support?
I love supporting female founders building strong, beautiful brands. A few favorites:
• Hunter Bell
• Escape & Celebrate
• Swells
Where do you go to get your inspiration now?
This new season in Beaufort has shifted everything. Slower Lowcountry living, marsh light, historic homes, and designing our new space have deeply influenced how I think about art and business. I’m focused less on trends and more on what feels timeless and personal and I️ see that getting pulled into how I’m curating the gallery.
What is the best business advice you have ever given or received?
Just start. You will never feel ready, so just begin and the rest will follow.
