INTRODUCE YOURSELF
Hi, I’m Abbey Olsen. Founder and CEO of Abbey Glass, an approachable luxury womenswear brand that helps women explore “the art of dressing up”.
Hi All! My name is Chandler Sherry and I am an alumnus of the University of Georgia. For the past five years, I have been creating, selling, and distributing original pieces of abstract works all around Georgia and the United States through my business Chan Art. As a textile design major and fashion merchandising and design and media minor at the Lamar Dodd School of Art, I have been concentrating on color composition and textures to enhance my paintings, prints, and products. I love to use bold strokes and abstract lines to create loose images and serendipitous pieces of work. I do custom commissions, pop-ups, and wholesale!
Lila Limón is the founder and creative director of Squeeze de Citron, a colorful line of bags handmade by Mexican and Guatemalan artisans. After graduating with her bachelors degree in business in Mexico, she moved to New York City to continue her studies, studying Fashion Merchandise Management at FIT. She then got married, had two kids and moved to Florida. That’s where she started introducing her bags to market through her home hosted charity events. After quickly selling 500, She had an “aha” moment and decided to truly launch her business. Today her Squeeze De Citron bags can be found in more than 400+ boutiques in the USA, Cayman Islands, Bahamas and Bermuda, as well as online at squeezedecitron.com. Her bags have also been in Bloomingdales, Nordstrom and Everything but Water.
First and foremost, I’m a mom to Max and Maggie and wife to the love of my life, Darren. I was born in Concord, NC and grew up in the Carolinas, Louisiana, and Florida…Sun Cookery was born: from my experiences growing up in a small town where hospitality was defined by having an open front door, an extra seat at the dinner table, and having thoughtful and intentional conversations almost daily. The business just launched a few weeks ago and I’m so excited about the journey ahead. AND—my family and I are relocating to Charleston in 2025—so excited to return to the south.
Kenzie Harkey is an Appalachian State alum and born and raised in Charlotte, NC but prepping to move to Atlanta, GA soon! She is the Founder and Organizing Expert behind Simply Dare. She started Simply Dare out of a desire to help people enjoy the experience of their home and live with more ease. Kenzie also enjoys hiking and backpacking, traveling, reading, and making her favorite espresso drinks at home with her boyfriend, Ryan.
I am Sheri Corey and my business is Sassy Slipcovers and Decorating. I have been in business 30 years but the business has changed names and focus many times. This business is my favorite so far! Sassy Slipcovers is a mobile slipcover unit. I have a sprinter van that is set up with industrial machines and everything I need to make a slipcover on site. I can go anywhere but focusing on the southeast at this time. I am the only one doing this business mobile. I have made slipcovers for years at the beach or lakes but had to carry everything I needed in out and of the homes. Now this is so much better and the machines are much better then what I was able to carry with me.
