Meet Jenny Pancoast, Southeast-based Stylist
A Southeast-based stylist, I provide wardrobe consulting services to clients and editorial partners across the country. My career experiences range from working for designer Nanette Lepore in New York, representing fashion brands in Bergdorf Goodman, overseeing ad campaigns for a national shoe retail brand, serving as director of marketing for multiple real estate companies, and consulting on branding and customer experience.
Through all of this work, I realized the power of personal branding and the desire of modern women and men to create a style that serves them well through all aspects of life — from impactful careers to the gift of parenthood and everything in between. I believe that wardrobes have the power to impact meaningful points in our lives and in our careers, and I seek to drive empowerment and elevate confidence with each client I meet.
A native of Atlanta, GA, I’m fortunate to live in beautiful Greenville, SC, with my husband, Zach, my son, Smith, and my dog, Tripp.

Why did you join TSC Membership?
As a small business owner and entrepreneur, I’ve seen first-hand the power of networking and learning from those that have come before me. TSC provides the perfect platform – professional, engaging, and approachable – through which to nurture relationships, grow alongside the best, and develop innovative new ideas to propel my business into each new season.
What is a favorite small business you like to shop or support?
I love to support small businesses from coast to coast. While I’m a consistent consumer of all things fashion, I enjoy curating a home, office, and wardrobe of unique and special finds. A few favorite small businesses that help me do so include W.Port (an incredible clothing, shoe, and jewelry collection), S. Carter Designs (insanely beautiful & cool jewelry), Bradley Cottage (jaw dropping pottery), and Dear Elouise (the most elegant stationery, wedding invitation suites, and holiday cards.
Where do you go to get your inspiration now?
I find inspiration often in color, texture, and proportion – and it’s a beautiful thing that we’re constantly surrounded by all. Whether I’m browsing a client’s closet, the pages of a fashion magazine, a beautifully decorated interior or a hiking trail, I enjoy cataloging ideas for new looks and custom designs by pulling in the colors, textured, and proportions that feel unique, special, and like they bring life to the person or space by which they’re “worn.”
What is the best business advice you have ever given or received?
A lifelong mentor of mine told me many years ago, “Never let anyone mistake your kindness for weakness.” Throughout my career, this advice has positioned me to simply be me and confidently hold my head high in any room I enter. I find that operating with kindness-first allows me to develop deeper client relationships and elevate joy in bringing new energy to any wardrobe. I strive to display kindness, professionalism, clarity, and strong communication – with a spark of fun – through every interaction. To me, this is the secret sauce to a thriving creative and service-oriented business.

Why did you join TSC Membership?
The best part of being a TSC member is the opportunity to connect with a community of inspiring, driven women that I wouldn’t have met otherwise. I love hearing the unique stories behind their journeys and learning about the “why” that fuels their businesses. It’s an incredible space for building meaningful relationships and sharing inspiration.
What is a favorite small business you like to shop or support?
One of my favorite small businesses is The Warehouse Collective, based in Nashville, Tennessee. They offer some of my go-to brands at unbeatable prices up to 80% off retail. Shopping there is a win for both style and value, and I love supporting a woman-owned small business!
Where do you go to get your inspiration now?
I find inspiration everywhere! From exploring Pinterest and traveling to immersing myself in podcasts, audiobooks, and Instagram / TikTok content. I also gain a wealth of ideas and motivation by connecting with other founders, whether in person or virtually it’s energizing to exchange ideas with like-minded individuals.
What is the best business advice you have ever given or received?
The best business advice I’ve received revolves around three essential principles: maintain consistency in your efforts, embrace the courage to put yourself out there, and always remember that your individuality is your greatest strength—no one can do what you do quite like you.

Meet Lucy (Wellborn) Smith, Artist
Hi! My name is Lucy (Wellborn) Smith! I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where I live now and went to the University of Georgia where I studied at Lamar Dodd. I have been getting my hands dirty in art studios since high school, when my grandmother signed me up for art classes, and have been selling work since 2017. I treasure my time in the studio as my “me” time and love sharing my works with others through instagram and shows. I find a lot of inspiration for my work while traveling, most recently from my Honeymoon in Italy and Greece!

Why did you join TSC Membership?
Simple! I am eager to be a part of a group of creative, smart, and business-savvy women who can inspire and encourage me to grow.
What is a favorite small business you like to shop or support?
First would be my sister, who started Glenwick & Arden a few years ago! She creates fabulous Christmas cards, invitations, stationery, and more! I have also always looked up to small business owners in Atlanta, such as Fete, Odd McLean, and W.Port. Overall, I just love shopping at small businesses for art, clothes, and home goods.
Where do you go to get your inspiration now?
I would say I get my inspiration from my materials and experiences. I have been experimenting for years with different mediums and methods of painting, and I love to see how they mix together to create a fluidity. Then additionally, I LOVE to travel and when I’m anywhere new I am always looking for inspiration in their art, architecture and culture.
What is the best business advice you have ever given or received?
The best advice I have ever received, regarding my art, was by a teacher at UGA. He told me to never stop painting, because it will forever make it more difficult to pick back up. I’ve held this close to my heart and made sure to always have painting materials at hand whether I had a studio space to work in or not. As someone who has worked by day as a graphic designer for 6 years, I have always made sure to carve out the time to work on my art weekly. This has been the rock of my art career.

Meet Laura Templin of Laura Templin
My name is Laura Templin, owner and designer for the Laura Templin brand. Spending most of my life in a swimsuit – from swimming competitively in college and training for Olympic Trials to coaching and swimming with my local Masters program – I know what makes a great swimsuit. I started my brand in 2020 after feeling extremely discouraged with the suits I was finding. Everything was either too skimpy or too much fabric and construction. I wanted something like activewear, but for the pool so I could move and play with my family like I could in my training suit, without having to wear my training suit. I’ve set out to create my perfect ‘athleisure’ for the water ever since.
Why did you join TSC Membership?
I’m thrilled to finally join as a member. I’ve attended 2 past summits as I built my brand and loved the connections I was able to make at the events. In this season of my business, I’m very excited about the additional resources membership offers and really looking forward to making the most of that to drive my business forward!
What is a favorite small business you like to shop or support?
I love Windy O’Connor and her work. I used to think I appreciated art, but never really understood why people would spend so much money to own it – and then I met Windy’s work. I instantly identified with it and fell in love with all of her Chicas (how do you choose?!) The way she creates so much emotion – the strength and vulnerability of each one is absolutely incredible. I have her pieces in almost every space in my office and home and carry around her custom stanley cup! I feel like these pieces were made just for me!
Of course I have a laundry list of my favorite small businesses that I’ve connected with and admire these women for the amazing work and passion they have. Each person has so much to offer and I love that a by-product of running my business is that I get to meet other women like me that want to help lift me up just as I want to lift them!
Where do you go to get your inspiration now?
My friends and the people around me. Of course, I’m watching the activewear and swimwear trends, but it’s the women around me that provide inspiration. Solving their problems in addition to my own is the reason that I can keep moving forward!
What is the best business advice you have ever given or received?
During my first job as a product designer, we were preparing for a sales meeting to present the new line to the sales reps. I shared with my boss that I was so glad to NOT be in sales and he looked me straight in the eyes and said “Laura, you’re always going to be in sales.”
