Hello and welcome to the world of Abbey Glass.
We are passionate about making women feel confident when they get dressed up for the special milestones in life. From weddings and baby showers to college reunions and local fundraisers, we’re here to offer playful elegance and expertly designed pieces our customers will wear for years to come.
As a young girl, I would play on my grandmother’s 1950’s singer sewing machine in her basement when my sisters and I would get carted off to their house for any school break or vacation. I would make clothing out of anything I could get my hands on and my grandma eventually started annual trips to the local fabric warehouse. It was my first true love!
I grew up in midtown, Atlanta — moving to London and Providence, RI to attend Design School. Upon moving back home to spend time with family, I launched Abbey Glass organically, designing custom gowns and jackets for fashionable women around Atlanta, looking for something they couldn’t find in department stores. I worked out of my first apartment’s 2nd bedroom, building a cutting table and setting up an ironing board in the closet. Eventually, I subleased a small room out of an import-export business office and had my first office – meeting clients, discussing their vision and designing the most fabulous custom dresses.
From our first retail store at Ponce City Market to our move to Buckhead Village, my passion for the brand, our customers, and our community has been the driving force that’s gotten us to where we are today.
Today, Abbey Glass offers seasonal collections of Ready-to-wear dresses and separates at our retail flagship, online, and at select specialty boutiques across the country that focus on solving the same problem we were with our custom dresses: Classic, playful, modern special occasion clothing. We’re focusing on the fun dress-up moments in women’s lives when they want to look their best, feel fashionable, but remain timeless.
Our brand offers exquisite novelty fabrics, custom dyed colors and original prints at unmatched prices for the quality. We focus on timeless design, wearability and comfort rather than chasing the next big trend.
Notably, we are growing rapidly into the open white space that is the Mother-Of and sophisticated special occasion market. There’s not a lot of innovation and fresh design going on for this customer at an approachable price-point, we want to make her feel like the only girl in the room from the assortment we offer to the service we provide.
Most recently, we launched a collaboration with Ashley Brooke, one of our favorite bloggers and tastemakers. The collection is filled with joyful fabrics and colors that make you want to get out and celebrate life.
We’re also launching our Summer 2023 collection June 6th, filled with easy, yet elevated summer eyelets and linens that will take you from beach to brunch!
