From the Founders: COTERIE Crushes & Delightful Discoveries

In COTERIE Issue No. 1, Cheri and Whitney shared their current crushes—from elevated essentials to delightful discoveries. Consider this your shortcut to good taste (and even better shopping).
Cheri's Coterie Crushes
(1) Interlude Antiques – Kindred spirits with Gretchen – you will find antique bangles in a majolica dish at my home too!
(2) Oh My Mahjong – I am in love with the sunset tiles representing magical moments in the sunshine of the coast!
(3) Emily McCarthy – Blown away, that is what Whitney and I were when we visited Emily’s new Shoppe and studio in Savannah, Georgia. Envision a wine bar paired with Emily’s colorful prints and designs on home goods and her fashion line.
(4) Sue Sartor – Whitney and I both love wearing Sue Sartor’s signature style dresses that exemplify joy and make us feel put together. Perfect for Sea Island or Palm Beach!
(5) J. Willkinson Chair Company – C is for connect, collaborate, create and Cheri! Thrilled to have mother-daughter team of Jody and Anne styling our stage at Summit!
(6) Lydia Menzies Celebrates – Whitney and I are proud to be included in The Supper Club with Lydia Menzies with a feature sharing tips to host the perfect party for The Masters.
(7) Gently – Beautiful soaps that foster a natural lifestyle and provide relief for sensitive skin.
(8) Taylor Davis Reese – Never settle for subtle on gameday or any day! Statement making, handmade in Reese’s North Carolina studio.
(9) BURU – As if I couldn’t love Morgan Hutchinson and her small batch line BURU any more… and then she comes up with bespoke BURU! Whitney and I looked at fabric swatches and styles and created our own custom looks. And you can too in their Atelier at the Summit.
(10) Holly Shae – How many Grace Tunics can you own? I am testing the limits after Veranda magazine named it “Top 10 Caftans for Summer!” Beautiful original watercolor prints from which to choose.
Whitney's Discoveries & Delights
(1) CHRISTINA GREENE JEWELRY – Hopefully headed back to Round Top for the spring show and this would be perfect! Love this twist to the classic squash blossom design – typically paired with silver but stunning in gold – a great contrast to the turquoise.
(2) ISLAPAYAL – Happy colors in a fun style! Will be perfect for hot days on the Georgia coast.
(3) DARVINY – This cute and colorful kaftan has me dreaming of Palm Beach and TSC X The Colony Retreat this fall!
(4) BLUE BAY CRAB CO – How cute is this crab platter? I need this for this summer’s Jazz in the Park picnic series.
(5) TRASK – On the subject of gold, how fun and fab is this gold Trask toothbrush? Elevates my bathroom counter, too!
(6) TYLER BOE – For this Auburn University grad, this dress is calling my name for football season! War Eagle!
(7) EASTWIND DESIGNS – I’ve officially jumped on the mahjong bandwagon and this tray takes game playing up a notch—plus I am a fan of all shades of green.
(8) MARMALADE – I’m a sucker for stripes! Perfect piece to pack for somewhere tropical.
(9) LAURA TEMPLIN SWIM – Summer is coming soon and this swimsuit will be on repeat! The colors scream poolside fun.
