Carmel Brantley

Florida based photographer Carmel Brantley considers herself lucky. Her interest in architecture and interiors, combined with a passion for photography, allows her to step inside beautiful homes, captivating gardens, and fascinating buildings. Skilled in post-production processing, Carmel’s artistic eye and attention to detail have led to shooting assignments both near and far. As an award winning fine art photographer, Carmel’s photography has been selected for several group exhibitions and is included in many private collections.

Carmel’s work is widely published in numerous national publications including Veranda, House Beautiful, Southern Living, Frederic, Cabana, Traditional Home, Coastal Living, Southern Homes, Luxe, Town and Country, and the Wallstreet Journal. In addition, her photography has been featured online by Architectural Digest, and Elle Decor.

As a collaborator on several architecture and interior design books, Carmel’s photographic style lends itself to capturing a classic and curated look that is sought after by publishers. For her most recent book projects, Carmel worked closely with The Palm Beach Preservation Foundation and Rizzoli Publishing to produce “From Palm Beach to Shangri la: The Architecture of Marion Sims Wyeth” (2021) and “Palm Beach Style: The Architecture and advocacy of John and Jane Volk” (2023).

Carmel worked with landscape architect Fernando Wong and writer Tim Johnson on producing “The Young Man and The Tree”(2024) by Vendome Press with foreword by Martha Stewart.
