Amy is lead designer and co-founder of SDCO Partners, a multi-disciplinary studio based inCharleston, South Carolina. Together with her co-founder Courtney Rowson, Amy leads a team of writers, designers, developers, and strategists who breathe new life into new, evolving, and storied brands for businesses worldwide.
Born and raised in Mississippi, Amy earned a graphic design degree from Miami University inOxford, Ohio. Her professional experience includes design and art director positions with a mix of designers and agencies where she worked with an array of clients from diverse industries across print, advertising, and digital platforms.
In 2009, Amy co-founded SDCO Partners with friend and fellow designer, Courtney Rowson. SDCO is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary collective of designers, developers, writers, and strategists that creates an inviting space: fertile ground for conversation, collaboration, and enduring relationships. Their approach breathes new life into emerging, evolving, and storied brands worldwide. Drawing inspiration from wildly diverse influences, the studio thoughtfully considers every detail, creating holistic solutions that are compelling, immersive, relevant, and part of richer lived experiences. SDCO’s work has been featured in T-List: TheNew York Times,New York Times Magazine, Forbes, Fast Company, The Dieline, and Communication Arts.

Settling in her hometown of Savannah, GA, she has spent the past 5 years building a career working with female owned small businesses. From events to retail, she has learned the art of translating ideas into action.
