Beth Buccini

Owner and founder of Kirna Zabête

Of course, behind every bold and beautiful business is an even bolder woman. Owner and founder Beth Buccini has always had exceptional style, from being named “Best-Dressed” at her Norfolk, Virginia high school to studying Art History and French Literature at the University of Virginia. Beth loved the fashion world and with her talent for building the perfect look, New York City was the place to be. After assisting at Mirabella Magazine, Beth became a Fashion Editor at New York Magazine. There Beth got a front-row view of fashion’s best, using her refined taste to dictate the trends as they happened.  Above all, Beth loved to discover those emerging designers that were bringing the bold and beautiful to the runway and beyond.

After years as an editor, Beth wanted to bring her unique eye for style directly to the customer, so she and her college best friend decided to quit their jobs and create a designer shopping experience like no other. In 1999, Kirna Zabête opened at its first location at 96 Greene Street in SoHo (before the neighborhood was the shopping destination it is today). The colorful flagship soon came to be known as the candy store for designer fashion, and after nearly 15 years of success, Beth Buccini and Kirna Zabête started making some big moves. In 2013 the flagship location moved to a larger space at 477 Broome Street, and by the end of 2015, Beth had become the sole owner of her growing business. Then came a pop-up in East Hampton that did so well Beth decided to turn it into a year-round haven selling a selection of high-end fashion for every occasion from the wine bar to the sand bar. Soon after, a third store in Bryn Mawr on Philadelphia’s Main Line was opened – a little jewel box oasis of city style. In November 2023, Kirna Zabête opened its sixth store in Nashville, bringing a radiant and luxurious shopping experience to Tennessee’s vibrant clientele. September 2024 marked another milestone with the opening of Kirna Zabête’s Miami store, expanding the brand’s distinctive, high-touch shopping experience to a new and dynamic market.

Today, Beth travels between her seven boutiques as a wildly influential force in fashion, using her editor’s eye to curate the best in fashion, worn by the brightest, boldest, and most stylish of women.

Ivey Leidy

founder and CEO of Living with Ivey

Ivey Leidy is an Integrative Health Coach (INHC), certified in nutrition, gut health, and hormone health, and the founder and CEO of Living with Ivey—a thriving clean beauty, wellness, and lifestyle retail brand dedicated to non-toxic, sustainable living.

A mother of three, Ivey’s journey into holistic wellness began over 15 years ago after the birth of her first child, sparking a profound personal transformation. Having overcome past struggles with eating disorders, she committed to healing through intentional choices in nutrition, environment, and daily habits—prioritizing health for herself and her family. This evolved into a mission to share realistic, sustainable wellness practices with others, emphasizing better choices over perfection and clean living without extremes.

In March 2020, amid the pandemic, Ivey launched her Instagram (@livingwithivey), sharing authentic cooking videos, health tips, recipes, and lifestyle content. Her relatable, no-nonsense approach quickly built a loyal audience—now totaling around 200,000 across platforms, including the main @livingwithivey account (over 180,000 on Instagram), brand pages (@ivey_thebrand), store pages (@livingwithivey_thestores), Facebook, TikTok, and more. This community fueled the brand’s growth through genuine engagement and viral recommendations.

What started as educational content blossomed into Living with Ivey as a full retail brand. In January 2024, the ecommerce platform launched at http://livingwithivey.com, enabling nationwide access to curated, high-quality, rigorously vetted products (paraben-free, phthalate-free, sustainable) in clean beauty, wellness tools, home essentials, and beyond—often described as the “Aesop of wellness retail” for its intentional, elevated, community-driven ethos.

The physical retail side began with the flagship boutique opening in Palm Beach in 2023, followed by expansions to Miami’s Sunset Harbour. The brand continued its momentum with a Sag Harbor pop-up (summer 2025) and a new location on the Upper East Side, NYC (fall 2025), driving sustained growth in affluent markets and positioning for further national expansion.

In September 2025, Ivey launched IVEY,  a luxury body care and fragrance brand commited to nontoxic ingredients, advanced efficacy, wellness and sustainability. Following the successful launch of the Glow Active Body Oil in September 2025, the collection expanded to include The Huile de Parfum (The Fragrance Oil) and Huile de Parfum Active Body Oil. The brand’s next chapter includes the launch of The Glow Concentrate, a multipurpose scar concentrate and resurfaccing facial oil, and The Sun Glow, a shimmer version of the signature Glow in July 2026, followed by the Glow Body Scrub, Glow Body Wash, and Glow Body Butter in October 2026. Fall 2026 will also mark the debut of the first IVEY candle, the introduction of the IVEY Home Collection, and the launch of a second signature fragrance with a more gender-neutral expression.

Ivey remains deeply hands-on as the brand’s visionary curator, content creator, coach, and operator. Through Living with Ivey, she empowers people to live more purposefully, healthfully, and confidently—one intentional, realistic choice at a time—while blending her expertise with joy, transparency, and a commitment to non-toxic living.

Morgan Hutchinson

co-founder and CEO of BURU

Morgan Hutchinson, the Founder of BURU, describes herself humbly as an “accidental designer,” although she’s worked in many facets of the fashion industry for the past 18 years. After earning an undergraduate degree in Interior Design from the University of Alabama, Morgan moved to New York to pursue a different path. As co-founder of intimate apparel company, Passport Panties, Morgan designed shapewear and lingerie essentials inspired by the needs of modern women. Sold in 500+ specialty stores, including Henri Bendel and Neiman Marcus, the kitschy, yet practical brand hit a nerve with buyers and consumers alike.

In 2009, Morgan sold her shares in Passport Panties, and moved to Beijing, China for her husband, Brett’s, career. There, she stumbled into commercial styling and instantly fell in love. After four years, Morgan and Brett returned to the US and welcomed their first child, Olive.

Two weeks into motherhood, Morgan realized the momentous shift, not only in her life, but in her wardrobe. After 12 years in the industry, plus a lifetime love of fashion, Morgan refused to accept that motherhood would determine one’s attire. Believing style and practicality should not be mutually exclusive, BURU was born. First as an online marketplace, selling ready-to-wear brands curated by Morgan to meet the demands of motherhood, and now as BURU has developed its own label designed for women in all stages of a multifaceted life.

The line’s small-batch production begins with sketches in Morgan’s notebook and the deadstock fabrics she sources locally in LA. Morgan honed her design skills by slowly crafting silhouettes for her own label and began to build her own Los Angeles based factory from the ground up, one sewing machine at a time. Hiring full time, in-house cutters, pattern and sample makers, she learned the ins and outs of construction from her own, marvelous team. Reflecting on the mothers in her own life, Morgan hand-selects every up-cycled textile, re-imagining its second life in her signature silhouettes. With BURU, Morgan’s mission is to make elevated fashion accessible to all women while supporting responsible domestic production.

In addition to designing, Morgan serves as BURU’s CEO, managing a growing team of fifty factory workers housed in the brand’s own factory in downtown LA. She lives in Pasadena, California and operates retail stores in Charleston, Palm Beach and New York City.  Her memoir, Bipolar Blonde, will be published in November 2026.
