Beaches and bathing suits, swimming pools and parades, kites and American flags flying high, cook-outs and celebrations are all signs that it’s Memorial Day and the unofficial kick-off of summer! It’s no coincidence that May is also National Hamburger Month (as well as National Barbeque Month – see last week’s issue). With the average American consuming three burgers per week, it’s the perfect time to pay homage to the hamburger, an iconic all-American delight.
