After compiling a list of big screen classics for Mother’s Day for Southern Living’s The Daily South, we upped the ante for this Father’s Day with our “favorites” list of a dozen television shows and a dozen movies depicting some famous and infamous fathers. No matter what their faults, most often the good outweighs the bad just like in real life. Loyal, steadfast, stern, genuine, generous, honest, hardworking, inspiring, patient, kind, faithful, determined and disciplined… these are the kind of men that made our list:
