The Wholesale Home Décor & Gift Industry: What if no one took the risk to create?
LET’S FACE IT, CREATING ANYTHING TAKES GUTS
It’s a dance between a spark of talent and an appetite for wanting something more. It’s believing in a vision that sometimes only you can see. It’s hitting the gas, staring straight ahead, and turning the music way up.
TO CREATE IS TO LIVE FULLY
Big ideas, a piece of your heart, stretching, risking, diving, falling, soaring, smiling, crying. And could you imagine it any other way? I can’t. I am mesmerized by ideas becoming things, and I am continually inspired by the wide-eyed dreamers who make their own waves – Figuring it out. Making it happen.
When I attended my first Atlanta Market in 2012, I felt for the first time that I was part of this magic, and I knew I was right where I needed to be. I loved the energy, the products and the people. There were colors, lights, patterns and so many beautiful things that it felt like I was in a dream.

I OFTEN STOP AND WONDER, “WHERE WOULD WE BE IF NO ONE TOOK THE RISK TO CREATE?”
What would be hanging on our walls? What would be our most treasured ingredient in our favorite recipe? What would we be wearing to make us feel special? What would we be giving to show someone how much we love them? Really, what would our big, beautiful world look like? (Let me know what you think in the comments below!)
I’m tickled pink that I am surrounded by so many creative people, savvy business owners, and endless chances to be amazed.
