Sponsor Spotlight: Viola’s Market

There is a little shop in the heart of Redfern Village in St. Simons Island that can satisfy any shopper…whether you are looking for antiques, a crowd pleasing snack for a cocktail party, or the perfect pair of earrings. Visits home to St. Simons are never complete until I make a trip to Viola’s Market. The shop is full of one of a kind antiques, fresh flower arrangements, beautiful books, accessories, and gift ideas galore- if only they come work their magic at my house! They have such a distinct style…eclectic, sophisticated, and unmistakably Southern. I love chatting with the staff about their latest discoveries and of course perusing the “Pantry” to sample all the gourmet goodies.

I’ve been shopping here for years because of the unique merchandise, their support of local artisans, and their personable customer service. I’m a sucker for jewelry and food so it should come as no surprise those are my most frequent purchases at Viola’s. Here are just a few of my favorites from the shop!

Callie’s Charleston Biscuits

I can’t praise these biscuits enough. I never thought I’d be able to say any biscuits rival my grandfather’s but these do! Please don’t tell him I said that! 🙂 If you are coming to The Southern C Summit this year- Carrie Morey of Callie’s Charleston Biscuits will be there!

Emily G’s Jam– Dunwoody, GA

This jam is genius…every flavor is to die for. Fig and pomegranate is my favorite, especially when paired with goat cheese.

No matter the season, the Viola’s Market pantry is always fully stocked with fresh herbs!

Now on to the my other weakness…jewelry.

Leslie Fendig is a local St. Simons Island designer creating one of a kind pieces sterling silver, gold-fill, 14 and 18k gold, precious and semi-precious stones. Her cross earrings are my go to…they go with everything!

Another SSI jewelry maven, Lisa Kern, creates one of a kind, trendy jewelry is all about making a statement…a bold one. I love seeing her unique pieces each season.

Not shopping for yourself? Viola’s is still the place to go. They can create one of a kind gift boxes for any occasion- housewarming, little one’s birthday, Mother’s Day- whatever you need.

I love this one they’ve put together- Marigot Pajamas, Cupcakes and Cashmere Book, Nest Votive, Handcrafted Cross Bottle, Barr Bath Salts. What more could you want?

The Southern Coterie team is so thrilled to have Viola’s Market on board as a Platinum Sponsor for The Southern C Summit. We can’t wait to see what amazing centerpieces these talented gals come up with for the Southern Supper Thursday. Get your tickets today!

One of the best shops in the southeast! Lovely selection and the kind of shop you browse for an hour. So excited about their E-Commerce so I can now shop Viola’s Market when I am away from St. Simons Island.
