South Mississippi’s Best Kept Secret

It’s the birthplace of artist, Walter Anderson. It’s sleepy and quiet and tucked quaintly on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It’s where I fell in love with my fiancé, and it has some of the most breathtaking views in the south. It’s the town of Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

I have fallen head over heels in love with this little secret of the south, and I think you will too. This past weekend, I experienced my first Mardi Gras parade in Ocean Springs, and let me tell ya–it was a blast!

When you drop by, make sure you stop in Tato-Nut Donut Shop. When my fiancé told me about this incredible donut shop, I have to say I didn’t believe him when he said they were the best in the world. Y’all, he wasn’t kidding. Tato-Nut is the absolute best donut you will ever have. Get there early, though, because they run out FAST.
