SEC Football Spirit and Traditions
My husband Vance and I put together a UGA Bulldog publication, Bulldawg Illustrated as well as its website www.bulldawgillustrated.com. We just launched a network like The Southern Coterie to unite the Bulldawg Nation at WeAreBulldawgs.com. I tell you all this so you know that I am an SEC Football junkie. I live for the fall and the fellowship and pageantry affiliated with our league.
With nearly half of the top twenty teams in the BCS in week 13 coming out of the SEC, we continue to prove we are the premiere league in the land.
| Notre Dame | 11-0 |
| Alabama | 10-1 |
| Georgia | 10-1 |
| Florida | 10-1 |
| Oregon | 10-1 |
| Kansas State | 10-1 |
| LSU | 9-2 |
| Stanford | 9-2 |
| Texas A&M | 9-2 |
| Florida State | 10-1 |
| Clemson | 10-1 |
| South Carolina | 9-2 |
| Oklahoma | 8-2 |
| Nebraska | 9-2 |
| Oregon State | 8-2 |
| Texas | 8-2 |
| UCLA | 9-2 |
| Rutgers | 9-1 |
| Michigan | 8-3 |
| Louisville | 9-1 |
It is not just that we are winners that led me to create a series on The Southern Coterie’s tumblr account Sports Saturday: SEC Traditions. It is the fact that the fall brings together family and friends in such a special way and I wanted to spotlight some of the long standing traditions of the SEC. Please enjoy the spotlights and share your team’s traditions I may have missed. Keep up with the series every Saturday til the season ends.

Check out this feature we recently did in Bulldawg Illustrated showing off the spirit of our cheerleaders, Redcoat Band and Majorettes. It is inspiring the amount of time and hard work they put into supporting the team and fans!
