Praline Popcorn Recipe
Ingredients (makes 8-10 cups)
8-10 cups of popped popcorn (no butter, lightly salted)
3/4 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
Prepare the popcorn and place in a large bowl. You can either go old school and pop in a popcorn machine or use a microwave popcorn. I used this brand from Orville Redenbacher. In a small sauce pan add the brown sugar and butter and melt the butter and sugar together on low heat. When the butter has melted into the sugar bring the mixture to a boil add the heavy whipping cream whisking why adding the cream. Once the praline sauce comes to a bowl, remove from the stove and add in the chopped pecans. Stir until coated. Add the praline sauce to the popcorn until the popcorn is completely coated in the praline sauce. Serve immediately or store in a sealed container for a day or two. Enjoy!
Yum sounds like a great football watching treat.
