Made in the South: SAPELO SKIN CARE

I am ecstatic to introduce an amazing project that has been in the works for many months. I was approached by the lovely Cindy Edwards and Stephanie Duttenhaver in Savannah, Georgia to assist them with a branding project. They were starting a new skin care company and all of the products were inspired by Southern ingredients. It’s commonly thought women in the South tend to age better and have younger looking skin. These two ladies got to the bottom of that hypothesis and found out why. They put their knowledge to use and created Sapelo Skin Care.

Taking a tip from nature’s twice-daily high tides in coastal Georgia, their regimine delivers a hydrating, nutrient-rich surge twice a day to the skin.

It begins with their Renewing Serum. The serum is a water-soluble hydrating formulation that floods the skin, opening channels between the cells to quickly deliver a deeply penetrating combination of vitamins, minerals, micronutrients, peptides and stem cells contained in both the serum and Rejuvenating Cream (step 2).
