TARA GUÉRARD’S ‘LIFE IS A PARTY’ POPS UP ON UPPER KING STREET EVENT DESIGNER OPENS LIFESTYLE SHOP DURING CHARLESTON’S WINE + FOOD FESTIVAL

February 19, 2014 – Charleston, SC – Charleston, SC and New York, NY-based event designer, author and tastemaker Tara Guérard will host a pop up shop in her hometown of Charleston, SC.

From March 6 through 9, Tara will transform a 3,000 square foot space on King Street into a lifestyle store full of entertaining essentials curated or created by the designer. Discover some of her favorite things as she offers a glimpse into a stylish world of all things entertaining with the “Life is a Party” shop. Renowned for refined events that are infused with her distinctive brand of southern hospitality, Tara will illustrate the art of entertaining in style as she showcases tables dressed in custom textiles and set with hand- picked tabletop accents, along with expertly decorated vignettes mixing color, pattern and texture. Guests can expect to find an inspired assortment of objects for celebrating at home – from interior furnishings and tabletop pieces to custom linens and home décor items. Her attention to detail extends to a new line of printed paper products. On-site monogramming will be available for select goods.
