Cuisine – A Compilation of Soup Recipes in Honor of National Soup Month
Baby, it’s cold outside and the soup is on! With the cold (and wacky) weather covering much of the country, January is the perfect time to celebrate National Soup Month and share some recipes for this ultimate comfort food.
Whether you prefer gumbo, chowder, bisque, broth, soup or stew, one thing is for sure… we love them all! Here are some selections from the members and contributors at The Southern C – The Social Network of the South. Be sure to join us on our virtual front porch and share your favorite soup recipe, too! We’d love to know what’s simmering in your stock pot so add your recipe this week and you could win a trio of the amazing sauces from Southern Soul BBQ on St. Simons Island, GA.
To add a recipe, simply go to the recipe tab at the top bar and scroll down to select soup. The next page will have an “add” prompt and click that to then type or paste your recipe in. You do have to join the network first to be able to add content.
To kick off the soup recipe round-up here’s the famous Brunswick stew recipe form Southern Soul which uses the sauces one lucky Southern C member will win!
