CREATIVES: Entrepreneur to Watch – Jamie Meares of Raleigh, NC

Nov 6 2013

by Cheri Leavy

This designer, retailer, blogger, trend-setter, Jamie Meares of Raleigh, North Carolina, is an entrepreneur to watch. Not just watch, marvel over!

For an arty and colorful flair, shop Furbish Studio, an online and 3,000 square foot retail space and design studio. Her curated finds for Furbish Studio often land in her popular lifestyle blog, i suwannee. The two work in tandem to spotlight Jamie’s eccentric and oh so fabulous taste.

Sure Jamie has a lot on her plate and she is quick to admit she is an inveterate dabbler – her go-to answer is “I’ll try anything once.” If you keep up with her on her blog, social media or at the shop – if you don’t you should – then you know and love her wide and varied interests and the collections she puts forth.

Get to know Jamie better here as we asked her to share what inspires her…
