Cool off this summer with sangrias!

This past week I attended a party and was asked to bring a drink. I decided to put to use a new recipe and make sangrias! They were a huge hit.

Use this recipe to wow your friends and stay cool this summer.

Our host had the cutest mason jars, with holes in the lids for paper straws!

Ingredients

2 (750- ml) bottles your favorite rose wine

1 (750-ml) bottle sparkling water or club soda

3/4 to 1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup fresh raspberries

1 cup diced strawberries

1 cup diced nectarines or peaches

2 blood oranges or navel/seville oranges, juiced

1 lemon, juiced

Directions

In a large 1-gallon pitcher, combine all ingredients and stir well to combine and dissolve the sugar. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

I promise you won’t be disappointed! The sparkling water is nice to lessen the sweetness a bit, but don’t worry it’s still plenty sweet.

Cheers!

I am not sure, but what I did was prepare all of the fruit (juiced and diced) the night before, then combined it all day of plus the seltzer and the sugar… Worked well for me!

And Sudy thanks for that recipe–I’ll have to try it. Always good to hear from you! Hope you are well.
