Compilation – Friday Favorites

I know, I know… cutting it close with my promised Friday Favorites! Still so cold here and betting it is where you are, too, so hunker down tonight or this weekend and do some surfing. Here’s what got my attention this week:

Valentine’s Day is next week! Have you seen The Southern C Valentine gift list? If my husband happens to read this, while I would be perfectly happy with any of them, there’s just something about jewelry (hint, hint #5)

Adios, Jay… loved you on The Tonight Show but I also love being able to see the very funny, talented and super cute Jimmy Fallon a whole hour earlier. Celebrity crush alert!

Who else loved Bruno Mars and his not-too-over-the-top but still oh-so-good Super Bowl performance? Loved the old school feel even with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It’s like Bruno is a little bit of James Brown, Michael Jackson, Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis rolled into one performer. Talent!

Music continued… Beatlemania! Today, 50 years ago, The Beatles crossed the pond and landed in NYC. Music has never been the same. They are timeless. On a side note, if you ever get to see the production of LOVE in Las Vegas at The Mirage, you must go. Amazing! Part concert, magic show, Broadway show… it’s a must-see, add it to your bucket list type of thing.

For all my fellow moms – I’ve had this kind of week. You? It’s been out for a while so you may have seen it. Even so, sit back and watch Anita Renfroe’s Momisms set to the William Tell Overture. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry and you will definitely see yourself in it.

Every day of the week, I run across so many things online that catch my eye. Some make me laugh, some make me cry, some restore my faith in humanity while others leave me scratching my head. For the sake of disclosure, some of these finds make me reach for my credit card – who can resist a bargain?! Whatever the case, these they are all too good to keep to myself.
