Collegiate – Time to Tailgate

We are smack dab in the midst of college football and that means tailgating time is here! Almost as intense and sometimes as competitive as the football game itself, it is the pre-show and party in the parking lot. What used to be simply sandwiches, chips and dip, and some beers thrown in a cooler has now evolved into a full-blown production.

While other conferences do tailgate, no one knows how to do it better than the fevered fans of the SEC schools! Whether you (or your team) don red and white, purple and yellow, maroon and white or whether you shout Roll Tide, War Eagle or sing Rocky Top at the top of your lungs, the common denominator is that we love to feed, entertain, socialize, mix-n-mingle and have a cocktail or two! This makes tailgating a natural fit for our favorite fall sport.

From the food to the décor to the attire, we have gathered some of our favorite ideas on our “Time to Tailgate” Pinterest board. Check it out and be inspired for Saturday’s match-ups: http://www.pinterest.com/thesouthernc/time-to-tailgate/
