Cheri’s guide2: Marsala (recipe + shopping included)
We finally have a chill in the air and I can make some of my favorite comfort foods from my winter fare line up. One of my go-to dishes this time of year is Chicken Marsala Tetrazzini from Southern Living. I like to serve it with Runway Vineyard’s Mama Missy pinot grigio named after my bestie Missy Capone.
In honor of the dish and the pantone color of the year, I share the recipe and a taste of marsala fashion and beauty.

Preheat oven to 350°. Prepare pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add mushrooms and prosciutto, and sauté 5 minutes.
Stir together mushroom mixture, chicken, next 5 ingredients, and 1/2 cup cheese; stir in pasta. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 11- x 7-inch baking dish; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until bubbly.
