In honor of the men and women that work hard every day, The Southern Coterie compiled a list featuring some of the best songs about working people. It is by no means a complete list… what started out as a top 10 list quickly became our top 20 list!

This Labor Day, we celebrate you – the American worker – and your economic contributions, social achievements and good old American work ethic. Could there be a better reason for a holiday?
