Becca & Aaron | Classic South Meets Kate Spade Wedding | Tallahassee, Fla.

Blonde and bubbly, crazy about her guy, preppy, good-as-gold southern girl. She says “wonderful” and “thank you” in almost every sentence. Everything is perfectly organized in the mint green iPad she’ll confess to carrying everywhere. She’s a nanny for two little girls. Her mom is her best buddy. We met last April and I was immediately crazy about her.

After planning together for seven months, it was Becca & Aaron’s sunny Sunday wedding day in Tallahassee. Everyone got ready in suites at Trinity Community Church where the ceremony would happen later. Nice girls in J.Crew dresses, funny groomsmen, grateful parents and a bride and groom who both – separately – asked me how the other one was doing more than once. You can’t really ask for groups like this, but count your lucky stars if you get ‘em.

After their I Dos, the reception was ready in the Carriage House at Goodwood, a historic Tallahassee landmark and the perfect place to show off Becca’s Big Day vision. Kate Spade met the South: Navy & white stripes, blush pinks and peaches mixed with julep cups, lanterns and lace.

A dessert table full of treats homemade by the moms and grandmothers. And a classic little wedding cake.
