A Classic Surprise
I know what it is like to be brought up with unconditional love. In my life that came from my grandmother. She was a very simple woman, the pillar of her church and her siblings, mother of five children. She loves shopping, sparkle-y shoes, bridge, traveling, gardening and a good glass of wine. Margie is pretty predictable. She’s 88 as she’s been keeping a bit quiet these last few years as her hearing become more impaired. But I have to tell you that when she showed up in this last week I was nothing short of surprised.
So this goes out to all you grandmama lovers, classic car connoisseurs and hip aficionados. I’m pretty sure this maybe the chicest ride I’ve ever seen. You? Blue and white with surfboards look good on you, Old Chevy. And, you too GG. I still can’t believe it.
I’m so surprised! And my husband was in awe. This is so great! Love you much GG!
She’s the best! We took her to SSI a few weeks ago. It’s one of her favorite places and she has the best old stories about the Marina and Emiline and Hessies?? And, Barnicle’s and lots of other fun things!! Thanks for your comments. They make me smile! 🙂
Love that old Chevy – I so need one!
They’re fun! Not practical but totally fun!
